ReWilding Red Riding Hood: Ancestral Tales of Daring and Difficult Women

Gather in the Drill Hall, Mullumbimby to hear ancient folktales before they were tamed.

Meet the feisty French forbear of Red Riding Hood, gutsy Janet who must rescue her true love Tamlin, and other daring and ‘difficult’ women. For background on the stories, read Jenni's blog here.

After 3 sold out shows with rave reviews for The Brisbane Anywhere Festival in May, 2026, Jenni is taking these tales further afield, starting with her former home town of Mullumbimby. Jenni lived in the heart of Mullum for 16 years. She raised her two children there, told stories at community events, recorded albums and taught storytelling. She also hosted 'Stories in the Club' for 2 years in Mullumbimby and before that, 'Golden Tales' in Brunswick Heads. She is well known to locals and produced five award-winning albums in Nomad Studios in the Northern Rivers.

Doors Open: 6.30pm Show Starts: 7.00pm

Finish Time: Approximately 8.00pm

Jenni will begin as close to 7pm as possible and the doors will close at that time.
