Whether it's comedy, improvisation, singing, clowning, movement, theatre, poetry, story-telling, performance art, or some wild combination of them all... you are welcome here.

This workshop is delivered by facilitator and performer Alice Night. She brings with her 20 years of performance experience, and a deep love of the humanity made possible for both performer and audience during live art experiences.

This workshop will involve opportunities for you to grow in the areas you most need to.

There will be some creative development exercises in which you will create new material that you may then include in your show building.

There will also be performance skills exercises and work around dissolving what gets in the way of us showing up fully and boldly as ourselves on stage.

All levels of experience welcome.

If you feel drawn to this but a bit nervous that is likely a sign to join.

At any point you can decline the suggested exercises and witness instead.

Alice has taught performance skills for large groups at Summersong Music Camp, and at Songwriting Retreats in Australia, Vietnam and Bali. She has designed and led creative development retreats at NIDA university for masters students. She has a Master of Fine Arts in writing for Performance. She has released and toured a large catalogue of original music and performed in theatre, improvisation and performance art works.
