About her first real boyfriend. This is a play about Anna who has just turned 18 and now has the right to choose. She wants to know what life would be like without the meds. Does she really need them any more? Could life be more real, more authentic, more creative?

The Production Roles...
PLEASE NOTE: Rehearsals for The Almighty Sometimes commence on Monday 28th August. The first preview is on Thursday October 12th and the show runs until Sunday October 29th with 4 performances each week Thursday-Sunday.
Production Manager
The production manager has a key coordination role, liaising closely with the director to manage all aspects of the production carried out at the pre-production stage. This includes but is not limited to assisting with the recruitment of everyone involved (actors, technical crew, staging, costumes, publicity, venue management and ticket sales) and the production’s interactions with the audience and potential audience. The production manager will also work closely with the Drill Hall Theatre Administrator. Previous experience in a supervisory or admin role would be an advantage.
Time commitment - Most of the production manager’s work is carried out before and during the rehearsal period. It entails about four hours per week in the lead up to rehearsals (two to three weeks), three hours per week during rehearsals (six weeks) and one or two hours during the run of the show (three weeks).
Stage Manager
The Stage Manager is an integral part of the production during rehearsals and for the run of the show. Duties include facilitating communication across all creative and technical departments; acting as a right hand to the director; overseeing sets, props, lights, and sound; and calling all technical cues during performances. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring director wanting to learn more about directing to work with a leading director on an exceptional play.
Time commitment - The Stage Manager will be required for approximately four hours in the week prior to rehearsals, eight to ten hours per week during rehearsals and attending three performances per week during the run of the show (including being at the theatre one hour before each show).
Assistant Stage Manager
The Assistant Stage Manager assists the Stage Manager with all their responsibilities. This can include attending production meetings, running rehearsals and insuring the smooth execution of the performances. This volunteer position would suit someone who would like to get involved in theatre and who has no experience in theatre.
Time commitment - The Assistant Stage Manager will be required for approximately two hours in the week prior to rehearsals, six to eight hours per week during rehearsals and attending three performances per week during the run of the show (including being at the theatre one hour before each show).
Props Manager
The Props Manager is responsible for securing, handling, and storing the props used in the production. The props Manager will work in conjunction with the production designer to source props.
Time commitment - The Props Manager will be required for approximately two hours or three hours per week (maximum depending on the time it takes to source props) in the week prior to rehearsals and during rehearsals. and attending three performances per week during the run of the show.
